So I (Heather) love pictures... I was so excited to get out wedding pictures a week or two ago. Josh didn't seem to understand my intense excitement. That's ok; maybe others will understand when they see how great they turned out :). These are some of my favorite wedding pics...

Heather here. There is intense thunder and lightening right now and I love it. There was a suuuuuper loud one about 20 minutes ago. Josh was already up getting ready for work. I was half sleeping and I literally sat up in bed I was so startled. I thought they only did that in the movies.
But now I'm up and going and that is good- I don't have to work today so sometimes its hard to find motivation to get up early. But I actually really enjoy getting up early now. I think I'm actually... a morning person now... yes... interesting. I dont like staying up at night, I'de rather go to bed early and wake up early. Like an adult or something....
And I get to stay home while wonderful Josh goes to work and school. :)
I saw hime leave in the pouring rain. He's a good man.

I guess for our first post will start out with the basics.

We got married on July 24th at the Columbia River Washington Temple.

We've known each other for about six years. We both grew up in Tri-Cities Washington. Josh grew up in Richland and I grew up in Kennewick. I was 16 when we met; Josh was 17. We met in a pretty fun way too. It was on the pioneer trek put on by our stake. We didn't talk a whole lot, but we were in the same family and our family was a lot of fun. I thought Josh seemed like a really cool guy; he was very funny. We didn't start hanging out with eachother until later on when we happened to be on the same committee for another church function. We were partners and started to get to know eachother better and became friends.

We remained good friends and Josh went on a mission to Peru when he was 19. He came back and we hung out a bit but I was dating someone and he was focused on work and school. However, timing worked out at the end of last year. I was preparing to go on a mission and had broken up with the guy I was dating. My friend Jennifer wanted me to come on a double date where we both asked the guys, and I thought I'de ask Josh. I knew without a doubt that we would have fun together, even though I didn't think he was at all interested in dating. I was wrong... he let me know at the end of the date that he was interested in dating. :) We started dating in early December '08, got engaged March 26th '09, and got married July 24th '09.

We are so happy and have so much fun being married!!!!!! It's almost ridiculous how good life is.
